Born of years of friendship and a shared love of “the ponies,” Distaff was formed in 2022 in Chicago. Guitarist-vocalists Matt Kelly and Pavan Singh mine the rich traumas of their respective Red Sox and Buffalo Bills fandoms to create persistent melodies. Drummer Nick Wade channels his inner greyhound to achieve suspension gallops and local roustabout Adrienne Seely provides low end.
